    How to use AutoStitch

I had just put up a panorama I made with AutoStitch but I thought it would be a good idea to show you how it works.  I found out about this amazing little app while listening to MacBreak Weekly, it was Alex Lindsay’s pick of the week, and amazingly it was something I could actually afford!  Anywho, onto the process!

First thing to do is to take all the pictures you’ll need for the panorama.  It doesn’t require much skill or care, just snap a bunch of pictures leaving about 30% overlap.  I do the center row first, then the upper half, and finish with the lower half but any way would work fine, the important part is the 20-30% overlap.
After you take all the pics, open up autostitch and you’ll see all the pictures in your roll there. Tap tap tap all he pictures for the panorama and the app will process them:

Here’s the app rendering the panorama:

Here’s the finished rendering, getting ready to be cropped, which the application does as well:

    And the finished product:

I promise it took me about 10 times longer to make this blog post than it did to make the panorama, I’d say it took a total of 3 minutes from start to finish.
